Dr. Taher Dhoon
Dr. Dhoon is a Surgical Instructor at the Dental Assisting School. He is also a Blackbelt Coach at Dental Assisting School and a Surgical/Digital Faculty member at the Dental Assisting School. Additionally, he is an author and coach of The Practice Launchpad. Dr. Dhoon provides consultation services to dentists nationwide, helping them build their dream businesses. His expertise includes teaching dentists how to effectively manage their overhead, streamline their practices, increase profits, and expand their businesses by incorporating specialty procedures.
Dr. Dhoon has extensively traveled across the country to acquire and refine the most intricate techniques in modern dentistry. Additionally, he has made two separate trips to the Dominican Republic, where he conducted implant surgeries and complex bone grafting procedures for the underprivileged communities residing there.
Dr. Taher Dhoon's passion for the outdoors was ignited during his upbringing in Utah. Eventually, he relocated to California and pursued his undergraduate studies in Physiology and Neuroscience at the esteemed University of California, San Diego. Continuing his educational journey, he successfully obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the renowned University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
He tied the knot with his sweetheart from dental school, Bridget, and together they have three lively children named Connor, Claire, and Jonathan. The family is completed by their beloved golden retriever, West, and a rescue poodle-shih tzu mix named Jordy.
Makayla
Makayla is a seasoned Dental Assistant with eight years of experience, specializing in surgical procedures. After completing her education at Concorde Career College, she quickly established herself as a skilled professional in the field. Makayla has spent much of her career as the Lead Surgical Dental Assistant, where she has excelled in managing complex dental surgeries and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her expertise and dedication have made her a valued member of her dental team and a trusted ally to patients undergoing dental procedures.
